I am the data controller for this site. There is no company and no team.
What this site collects
Analytics. kharidwise uses Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookies and does not fingerprint your browser or device. It records aggregate figures only: page URL, referrer, country, browser and device type, and page load timing. I cannot identify an individual visitor from it and there is no profile of you anywhere in it.
The advice form. If you use the request form, you submit what you choose to tell me — typically what you are buying, your budget, your constraints, and an email address to reply to. That is the only place this site collects anything about you personally, and only if you fill it in.
Nothing else. No accounts, no logins, no newsletter, no advertising networks, no social media tracking pixels, no session recording, no chat widget.

Under India’s DPDP Act the form submission is processed on the basis of your consent for the stated purpose of replying to you.
How long it is kept
- Analytics: retained by Cloudflare for up to 6 months, aggregate only
- Form submissions and my reply: kept up to 12 months, then deleted. Kept at all only so I can see whether the advice I gave turned out to be right
- Email correspondence: deleted on request, otherwise up to 12 months

When you click a link to a retailer: you leave this site. The retailer and their affiliate network will typically set a cookie on their own domain to record that you came from here — that is how the commission is attributed. They are the controller for that data, not me, and their privacy policy governs it. I cannot read those cookies and I receive only anonymous, aggregated commission reports: that a sale happened and for how much, never who bought.
I do not sell data, and there is nothing here to sell.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own — no analytics cookies, no preference cookies, nothing. That is why you see no cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to.
Cookies set by a retailer after you follow a link out are set by that retailer on their own site, after you chose to go there.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, if you are in the EU or UK, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, to receive your data in portable form, to withdraw consent, and to complain to your national data protection authority.
Under India’s DPDP Act you have the right to access, correct and erase your data, to withdraw consent, and to nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf.
In practice: email hello@kharidwise.com and say what you want. I will do it within 30 days, usually the same week. The only thing I hold that is personally identifiable is a form submission and an email thread, so “delete everything about me” is a real and complete answer here.
International transfers
Your data may be stored outside India. Tally stores form submissions in the EU (Belgium). Cloudflare operates a global network and relies on Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers out of the EU.
If you are in the EU or UK, nothing here moves your data to India: I read submissions, but they are stored in the EU.
Children
This site is not directed at anyone under 18, and I do not knowingly collect data from children. Under the DPDP Act, processing children’s data requires verifiable parental consent, which this site is not set up to obtain — so please do not use the form if you are under 18.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. It is static, holds no database, and has no login, so there is no account to be breached. Form submissions sit with Tally behind my own two-factor-authenticated account.
Changes
Material changes will be posted here with a new date. If a change affects data already collected from you, I will email you.
